Queen’s Gambit was born in 2022, on the south bank of Figueira da Foz, with a clear mission: to prove that rock still has a lot to offer and powerful cards to play.
With a sound that spans rock, hard-rock and metal, the project is an explosive fusion of the different musical visions of its members: Ruben Rosmaninho, Filipe Nunes, Rui Maia, João Amaral and António Lebre. This unique combination results in a striking sound identity full of attitude.
