You’re still beautiful. It’s great to be here.
It’s November, the city is happy and well-kept and its visitors mingle with the Figueirense in the cafes, streets, and beaches.
Who visits Figueira?
Everyone is a special guest
Você Figueira is “one of the most appealing tourist destinations in Portugal, the result of its cultural, historical and natural heritage”¹, states the Figueira da Foz Tourism Center. Its visitors are Portuguese from the south and north, but many others come from outside the country, from afar. Most people return, Figueira, because you enchant everyone.
Everything is a party!
Comfort, safety and pleasure
They arrive tired, but eager to meet you, Figueira. Take the case of cyclists who traveled for days, coming from northern Europe, making the entire journey by bicycle. They are happy with the feat; they only need a good bath and rest.
So they open the door, and a beautiful orchid greets them. Two glasses and a Portuguese wine invite them in. A hammock hangs on the balcony… and the sea outside awaits them. This is Figueira da Foz.
